The Artisan Design Team has been crafting with the new Hearts of Elegance bundle from the Marbled Elegance Suite.
I created this framed Home Decor piece for this assignment, along witha card and some Fortune Cookies.
When planning to gift this piece, it was important to create a coordinating card to accompany it. This card has a mounted gift tag upon the front that coordinated with the patterned paper used to the side. By heat embossing the stamped flower, I blended Melon Mambo ink whilst using the Emboss Resist technique.

Siting the tag upon an embossed layer, helped give texture and interest to an otherwise plain white layer. The Gold Embellishments were used to edge the bottom of the tag and gave the illusion of a scalloped edge.
Framed Home Decor Piece
Tricky to photograph flat to show that this frame is transparent, I share a few more photos.
Approximately 8″ square the white 1″ deep frame is held together with a layer of Window Sheet. A square of the Marbled Elegance Designer Series Paper sits centrally. This piece was carefully chosen to show the full range of colours used within this suite. From Red through Melon Mambo down to Flilrty Flamingo.

Cutting a Gold Foil heart frame and a white stitched detailed heart, Ink was carefully blended to create an ombre effect. The large sentiment was heat embossed White centrally to coordinate withe the white frame.
A white stitched detail heart was die cut to sit behind the cluster of stamped flowers and leaves.

To create further texture, several layers of the Gold Thread were tied together so that the threads could be separated. Splitting them created a softer, more whispy feel.
Finally, I die cut circles of Marbled Elegance Designer Series Paper to make little Fortune Cookies. Sentiments from the Hearts of Elegance Stamp Set were used for the little messages.
I hope you enjoyed my share with this suite.

I love your frammed art. Can you tell me what kind of frame you bought. I don’t quite understand how you made it a clear frame and it didn’t fall apart. Thank you. Mary
Apologies for the delay in responding. Your message went to Spam for some reason. So this isn’t a shop bought frame but one I made from cardstock. I made each of the four sides first, like square tubes, which were held together at the corners before adding a square of Window sheet that was adhered to the back to give the clear window pane look. I hope that helps a little. When I get a chance, I’ll do a little video and share it on my YouTube Channel x
