Your Data and how I use it
Your personal information will only be used to respond to any questions you may have and help provide you with the products and services that you have requested in relation to:
- Ordering Stampin’ Up! Products, receiving Stampin’ Up! News, Promotions and Catalogues
- Paper craft Inspiration, Class/Event Bookings, Reminders, Joining Instructions, Tutorials
Classes and Events
When you book onto classes and events with me, I will ask for your name, email and phone number. These are held securely within my website, www.thecraftyoinkpen.co.uk and a plug-in called Events Made Easy. To comply with tax auditing, I hold this data for 6 years. Any card details provided to Stampin’ Up! or to Payatrader, who I use for my payment processing, are stored in an encrypted format, so I cannot see them or access them.
Ordering Stampin’ Up! Products
With the exception of your payment details, Stampin’ Up! make your details available to me as your Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, via my Demonstrator website. This enables me to see what you have ordered, so that I may help with after sales support. Your name and email is added to my mailing system to enable me to send you follow up emails and future product information relevant to you. You may unsubscribe from my mailing system at any time, but I and Stampin’ Up! keep your order records for 6 years to comply with tax auditing purposes.
Stampin’ Up! orders placed with me through my online store www.thecraftyoinkpen/stampinup.net will ask for your postal address for the purpose of delivering your goods to you. This data is stored by Stampin’ Up! in the USA. Your name, postal address and phone number will be passed onto their courier, UPS, who use the data to print labels for routing the packages within their system, to you.

Subscribing to my Newsletter and Website updates
Since this latest update, I am now using Mailchimp, who have the Privacy Sheild Certification, as my email marketing provider (view their Privacy Policy here). When you sign up to either my Newsletter or website updates system, your details are automatically added to this system.
Unsubscribing
You can unsubscribe from my mailing system at any time, using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of all my emails.
Joining my Team and the Stampin’ Up! Community
By Joining my Team, you are choosing me as your Stampin’ Up! Team Leader. Stampin’ Up! provides me with your information via my demonstrator website, which is also passed to my Team Leader. This is done, so that they too can reach out to you, in the unlikely event of your direct Leader leaving. The next leader up the line would then become yours. With commission being earned from Stampin’ Up! on the sales their team members place, requires this information to be kept for Tax purposes.
I like to send out reward and recognitions, general team gifts and Birthday announcements to all my three levels of Demonstrators, which includes those who have joined Teams of those Demonstrators who signed up under me. I also like to send out invitations to Team Events and thus use the information given to Stampin’ Up! to be able to do this.

The Act give you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. You will no have to pay a fee to access your personal data.
