The Let’s Get Hopping Team have a fun theme this month with Dear Santa. I focus on magical Christmas Eve through a child’s eye.
This month we have a fun theme for Dear Santa and I focus on the magic of Christmas. The writing of a letter to Santa and the leaving out of a glass of milk, a cookie and a carrot for the Reindeer.
A Snowflake embossed background created with the Wintry Embossing Folder formed the perfect backdrop for this collage. The large Wonderful Snowflake added to this frosty look. The images used in the foreground came from various stamp sets, which you can see listed below in more detail.
Santa’s letter came from the Full of Love Stamp Set and the cookie from Nothing’s Better Than. The glass of milk was created by heat embossing white on vellum using the Brewed for you stamp set. Scraps of cardstock were used to create Rudolf’s carrot.
The playful sentiment was created using Jingle Jingle Jingle and fussy cut before adhering with dimentionals haphazardly. For that final touch of fun, I added a little candy cane from the same stamp set.
A fun card to depict Christmas Eve and all the magical elements that it brings.
