Bloom Where you’re Planted oh Plentiful Plants

Inspiration is all around us, nature, our homes, the catalogue and of course, our very own Artisan Design Team. Posts of our Artisan’s work using the Bloom Where You’re Planted Suite and Plentiful Plants set gave me inspiration when my Mojo was failing me.

I loved the colour scheme that Tammy Wilson used in her post featuring this suite of products. I had to create my own version that was suitable for my first In-Person class back of the year.

A Water Painter helped apply our palette of ink colours to previously die cut watercolour shapes. A great way of using up scraps of Watercolour or Shimmery White paper. Every plant looked different and it allowed for theatre and flair.

This sentiment is just perfect when you really don’t know what to say. There are often many occasions when that rings true.

A layout by Artisan Martin Stone inspired this second card, where a watercolour paper circle, sat behind the focal point. The detailed embossing on the matting layer from the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder gave fabulous texture.

CASEing (Copy and Share Everything or Copy and Selectively Edit) can be the perfect way to reignite your Mojo. Using our talented Artisan’s was the perfect way for me.

Watercolouring the leaves again helped me add more or less where I felt necessary.

Unsure of what sentiments to use, I stamped several from the Inspired Thoughts set, stuck to one block. Stamping versa mark onto Basic Black cardstock I heat embossed white and simply cut to rectangles before making my choice. Doing this, allowed me the flexibility to cut and choose my sentiment as I needed. Stamping the sentiments together for selection at a later date was a tip I wanted to share with my ladies. Both cards would look equally lovely with Birthday sentiments or created into Thank you cards.

My In-Person classes have started up for the year and I’m looking forward to welcoming back all of my ladies and hope you’ll consider joining us. Established now for coming up 10 years, I’m lucky to have met such lovely ladies at my classes.
