Let’s Set Sail Baby Card using Sailboat Builder punch

The Sailboat Builder Punch is your best friend when a Baby Card is needed and you’ve little time to create it.

Crisp white and a pop of colour helped highlight the gender colour that I wanted for this card. A simple Gingham Embossed matting layer gave texture to the background.

Looping a length of white ribbon around, I adhered a Scalloped Contour Die cut panel over the top. Ensure you doing any pre-stamping before adding your panel. This sentiment came from the All For Baby Stamp Set.

The new Cloud Punch gave a detailed, elevated layer for the sailboat to sit upon. Misty Moonlight was again used for the boat hull and mast before pulling in some patterned paper. There’s a wonderful blue striped paper in the You’re a Peach Designer Series Paper Pack. Punched with the Sailboat Builder Punch helped create these fabulous coloured sails. Gently curling the sails with a bone folder and elevating them on dimensional foam pads, helped simulate movement.
