Last weekend saw just under 450 Demonstrators gather together in Solihull for the Bi-Annual Stampin’ Up! Convention called OnStage.
The whole event starts with an exclusive evening for their Leaders called CentreStage and for the first time I was able to share this event with one of my team. The lovely Mo Rootes had earned herself the title promotion of Silver Elite this year, which is the title where you are invited to attend such an event. It was an absolute pleasure to share this evening with her.
Centrestage starts with a short training session, where this year we spoke about Productivity, before sitting down to enjoy a three course meal, alongside several other Top Demonstrators from the UK.
Stampin’ Up! certainly know how to spoil us. We started with picking up our OnStage Bag, complete with a Brand New un-launched Stamp Set and a gorgeous Branded Mug. We also received a new 6 month Diary and note pad to keep our business notes in. Not many write in these, but this year I am bringing myself to add pen to mine and actually make effective use of it, in the hope of being more productive. That was after all what our topic was about.
We then enjoyed a wonderful meal, before showing our appreciation of our UK Manager, Paula Gory, who celebrates her 10th year with the company.
OnStage Convention Solihull
OnStage Convention is a fabulous time to get together with fellow Demonstrators from around the country. Many I don’t know, but many I’ve met throughout my 5 years with Stampin’ Up! and look forward to seeing at each event.
I have a fabulous Team that I call the Stampin’ STYlettes and I was fortunate enough to share this event with so many of them this year. Some are hobby Demonstrators, who are signed up to achieve discount on their crafting products for themselves and others have their own Teams and/or run their own businesses and crafting events. Well, it’s at times like this, that I like to spoil them.
This event was being held on 11th November, Armistice Day … A day to remember the War Fallen. The symbol of the Poppy is something that is worn countrywide, so I couldn’t help but reflect this in the Team Gifts that I gave to my girls. A Notepad for all of those notes to remember, some essential chocolate and a simply embellished Gift box for their main gift.
Inside this Gift Box was a Mug and Team Scarf. I loved the motivational quote on the Mug. A quote that applies to us all, no matter where we are in our lives.
The day was a day full of training, inspiration, sharing, crafting friendships, establishing others and lots of recognition, but with so much more to share with you here, I’ll do that in another post.
If you however would like to learn a little more about joining my Stampin’ STYlettes team and obtaining discounted products for yourself or forging yourself a flexible business you can fit in and around busy family life, then be sure to get in contact. I’d love to hear from you and I’d love for you to join in and share the fun of this amazing company.
For now … Happy Crafting
