Global Design Project #GDP547 – Landscape Challenge

This week’s Global Design Project challenge #GDP547 is a Landscape Challenge. Having been playing with the Lakeside Retreat Paper Pumpkin, I was inspired by this landscape image.

Layering up various blue patterned papers from the Lakeside Retreat pack, helped give an interesting backdrop to my landscape scene.

The dark Secret Sea card base was the perfect mat for this to all sit upon.

To add further interest to my circular landscape scene, I cut skinny slithers out and adhered the panels back into a circle, raised upon Dimensionals.

This gave both height, texture and interest to this card. A few die cut images to sit upon a Linen Thread bow sat beside my chosen sentiment.

The word wonderful was die cut from the coordinating die set that compliments this Paper Pumpkin kit.

A simple way of bringing interest to an already beautiful scene, with very little effort.
