Team Challenge – Sending Love

Our current Creative Team Challenge sees us Sending Love.

I turn to the Endless Love Die set and pair this with the Party Alphabet Dies for a simple contemporary card.

With a Basic White card base, I added an embossed mat layer, embossed with the Lovely Stripes Embossing Folder. This gave a simple yet effective detailed textured background.

Using the Party Alphabet Dies, I die cut the letters L, V and E from Pool Party cardstock to adhere flat to my mat layer.

The Endless Love Dies offered the perfect size heart to die cut from Poppy Parade cardstock. A selection of smaller hearts were die cut from the same colour card to scatter across my card.

To add some contrast, I die cut the arrow from Pretty Peacock card to blend with the Pool Party cardstock.

A simple tag style sentiment extension was added using the Banner Sayings stamp set and Black Memento ink. A single Poppy Parade heart was added to the base and a Red and White Baker’s Twine bow to the top.

A final scattering of embellishments added that finising touch.
