Team Challenge – Tic Tac Toe using Delicate Pines

Our current Creative Team Challenge follows a fun Tic Tac Toe challenge.

Having to choose a line in any direction to work with, I opted for the far right … Blue, Punch or Die cut and some Ribbon.

Immediately thinking of frosty days, I turned to the Delicate Pine Bundle. A frosty Balmy Blue card base had a matting layer of the same colour. Blending Ink, tone on tone to the centre of this mat layer, helped add depth to the focal layer to come. Flicking Misty Moonlight Blends and Whisper White ink, helped add atmosphere.

Stamping Balmy Blue onto Basic White cardstock, I started with the largest snowflake of the stamp set. Using the same colour, I stamped the medium snowflake before stamping the second smallest. Die cutting these helped keep detail and shape to these fabulous images.

To add further texture, I die cut a series of pine sprigs from Basic Whtie cardstock that were added to my layers. A loop of white ribbon sat across the centre of my card, sat beneath my sentiment panel.

Heat Embossing my sentiment white on Secret Sea gave a wonderful contrast, before a final scattering of embellishments was added.
