Stamping Sunday – Joy to the World

Welcome to this month’s Stamping Sunday hop where this month we hope to bring Joy to the World.

Sending cards around the world brings me joy, so this month’s theme seemed only right and fitting to celebrate this.

Images from the North Pole Delivery Designer Series Paper Pack offered the fun images perfect for this card.

For a wonderfully contrasting and moody backdrop, I stamped a series of trees from the Scenic Adventure stamp set to a matting layer. Choosing a card base of Secret Sea, a tone on tone matting layer was added for mood. Gentle splattering of white ink added to the mood of a twinkly night sky.

Before the nigh sky, I added a run of die cut trees cut from Old Olive and Shaded Spruce and blended with Secret Sea. These were the perfect back drop, both in colour and texture, for the fun images in the foreground.

Finally a Poppy Parade sentiment was die cut from the Words for the Season Die pack, which sat upon a snowy white layer.

A joy to make and a pleasure to send. I love to send Joy to the World and wonder where this one will be heading.
