Our current Creative Team Challenge has a fabulously fun theme of ‘Cool Me Down’. This theme screamed ice creams to me.
The Everyday Arches Dies had me thinking of the shape of an old FAB Favourite which would cool me down as a kid. Three layers to this Ice Cream and a scattering of hundreds and thousands.
Die cutting the same sized Everyday Arches Die in Basic White, Poppy Parade and Early Espresso allowed me to layer the colours. A few scored lines heped add some detail and some ink blending to one side, some shading.

The smallest Everyday Arches Die and the Countryside Woods DSP was the perfect match for creating my lolly stick. This entire Ice Cream was sat upon a matting layer of Pool Party Two-tone cardstock. Using the lighter shade of the cardstock against the darker Pool Party cardbase, allowed for some fun contrast.

To step the colour up further, I used Coastal Cabana with the Mini Alphabet Die to build my ‘Cool Friend’ sentiment. In total contrast to this and to stand out, I heat embossed white on Daffodil Delight the sentiment Happy Birthday to sit between my cool friend sentiment.

A simple white Baker’s Twine bow and a generous scattering of Loose Shaker Elements and my card was complete. This card would certainly cool me down but would it cool you down too?
This card will be sent to the lucky winner of this challenge, along with a £5 voucher. I hope you’ve enjoyed my share with you today.
