The Let’s Get Hopping Team welcome you to Discover the Die Cutting Difference this month. Projects that all include Die cutting in some shape or form.
With the chance to get creative with my un-opened Paper Florist Dies, I welcomed this challenge.
Die Cutting Flowers
Eager to open my Paper Florist Dies on a wet and dreary day, I migrated directly to the Brights collection. Bright bold punchy colours needed anchoring with a darker shade, so Night of Navy became my base colour.
These Flower Dies have all the petals needed for a single flower, connected. This makes it easier to know what elements are needed for each flower used. Cutting a selection of colours from the Brights collection, I was able to play around and see what worked best.
Adding texture to my matting layer was easy with the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder.
A bold white on black heat embossed sentiment from the Sentimental Park Stamp Set was fussy cut and added. Tinsel Gems in Blueberry Bushel were added for some gentle glimmer. This card certainly focuses on the fabulous Paper Florist Dies and Die Cutting.
I hope you have enjoyed my share today and that I’ve inspired you to create using simple die shapes. Be sure to head over to my Instagram account to follow our Instahop shared by the rest of the Team.
