Welcome to the Creation Station Blog Hop, where this month we share Fun and Fancy Folds.
If you’ve hopped over from the lovely Elizabeth Price, then I feel sure you’ll have been spoilt to some fabulous inspiration.
For my Fun and Fancy project, I decided to opt for a Fancy Fold Gift Box. This box type would be suitable for a small table gift at Christmas.
Starting my project by selecting this beautiful paper from the Fitting Florets DSP, I pulled in my colour palette from here.
Scoring up my Evening Evergreen cardstock, cutting and folding, I was able to create the fun fold base to this box. Cutting Designer Series Paper, I adhered to all visible outside surfaces before embellishing.
Die Cutting a large Evening Evergreen circle to anchor my flourishes upon, helped keep things neat and tidy. A festive sentiment was stamped upon a smaller Stitched circle that sat central to the flourish. Sitting a red swish of a banner beneath the greenery gave a further lift of colour.
Finally some Puff Snow was added to the tips of the die cut sprigs and a gold loop of Elegant Trim added.
The fancy fold of this box hinges two side opening flaps that reveal a central box big enough for a small gift.
I hope you have enjoyed my Fun and Fancy Fold share with you today. Do be sure to hop on over to see what the lovely Denita Wright-Smee has to share.
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy the rest of the hop today.
