You Can Create it with Hues of Happiness

You Can Create it this month with our Quarterly Papercraft kit and Hues of Happiness Papers.

This month’s kit we are creating with the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper and coordinating card stock.

With just half a sheet of Melon Mambo Cardstock I decided to cut it in half to provide a front to a white cardbase and a matting layer. To make this colour cardstock go even further, I gutted the centre of the bottom layer using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and used this panel on my second card.

Taking a Blending Brush, I added an ombre effect of Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry Ink to give depth and interest. Using the ornate die from the Happiness Abounds Bundle allowed the white cardbase to show through, highlighting the detail further.

Die cutting what flowers I had within my sheet of Designer Series Paper, I scattered three across the card front. Stamping my sentiment in Melon Mambo on white cardstock and matting it with a flash of ombre paper behind, gave something for the flowers to frame.

Card Two

Using the same Ink Blending method for my second card, I changed up the colours to Granny Apple Green, Old Olive and Shaded Spruce. Once sponged I ran the panel through the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.

Die cutting the rectangle panel from the first card and gutting the centre of the green layer allowed the white cardbase to show through. With fewer full flowers left, I set to using the off cuts of flowers to edge my focal panel. Even the leaves tucking in behind the sentiment panel were incomplete but worthy of using.

Two vibrant cards with a wash of flowers and detail and very little left overs from my pack but enough I could probably make a coordinating tag.
