Cheerful Basket Craft Room Peg Board Card

Yesterday saw a group of my Team, The Stampin’ STYlettes, gather to craft together. We often create Swaps to share our inspiration and this Cheerful Basket Craft Room Peg Board Card was mine.

The moment I saw the Dots & Spots Die, I had the vision of my Craft Room Peg Board from IKEA. This combined with the craft supplies from Cheerful Basket had me thinking of my Team Swaps.

A pastel background of Petal Pink and some striped paper from Abigail Rose, set the wall up for my Peg Board. In reality my craft room is a Log Cabin, so really should have been wood but we can all dream for pretty wallpaper.

Cutting the Dots & Spots down, I created a matting layer with the image of my Peg Board. To this Peg Board, I started to add my Craft Supplies.

With a little white strip of cardstock to simulate the IKEA Peg Board shelf, I set to filling it. Stamping the craft supplies with Black Memento ink onto White cardstock I coloured using Stampin’ Write Markers before Die Cutting. This, stuck flat to the Dots & Spot Peg Board helped fill my shelf.

The Stamped notepad message was stamped in Early Espresso onto paper from the Abigail Rose pack. The spiral bound edge die from Blossoming Happiness made this look more like a piece of note pad. Using Crumb Cake cardstock and the basket die, I cut a tiny Peg to hold this message in place before finishing with a Linen Thread Bow.

A fun card to create and one that I’m sure many will recognise as their own craft room wall. My Craft Supplies really do fill my day with happiness. How about you?
