Welcome to this month’s Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop where we are Sending Thanks.

Christmas is a time when I’m sending Thanks, so a festive Thank you card seemed most fitting.

I wanted to create a non traditional colour palette for this festive Thank you card. The base for this card is Soft Sea Foam, which I felt soft and unusual to team with Misty Moonlight and Polished Pink.

A randomly stamped matting layer sits beneath a Banner with a layering circle focal point. The Polished Pink scalloped layer has been cut from Designer Series Paper. By cutting the top circular layer out of Shimmery White cardstock allowed me to do a watercolour wash. By stamping the sleigh image with Memento Black Ink allowed me to colour with alcohol Blends Pens.

I kept to a colour palette of Misty Moonlight, Polished Pink and Soft Sea Foam for my presents. The simplicity of this card layout and it’s image was most appealing.
