You Can Create it this month with our Quarterly Papercraft kit using Stampin’ Up!’s Cute Halloween.
This month’s kit we had to play with, comprised of papers and coordinating cardstock from the Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper. We always have an incidental kit of basics to pull from, which this quarter is Glue dots, a Dauber and some Basic White cardstock.
I fussy cut the cute halloween ghosts from the paper I had selected and teamed with Playful Alphabet words. I tailored the words to the look of each ghost with the first offering a Trick.
By Black Heat Embossing the Bats from the Banner Year Stamp Set, I was able to complete an emboss resist effect panel. Using the Sponge Dauber and Highland Heather, I worked from one end of both the heat embossed panel and the tag.
Using a Blends Pen, I was able to create the striped edge panel that you see either side of the central panel. This alcohol pen was also used to add colour to the ribbon for coordination.
Trick or Treat
My second card was created with some treats in mind and some mock Candy Corns. These were created by die cutting circles of Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Basic White and cutting into wedges.
Each word was created by using our Playful Alphabet letters on Black Glitter Paper, upon adhesive foam sheets.
My final card used the remaining piece of Designer Series paper and yet another fussy cut Cute Halloween Ghost. A smaller tailored Tag housed the word ‘Boo’
Washing our sponge daubers enables you to make use of them with other colours, should you need to. I stuck to two colours within this team, Highland Heather and Pumpkin Pie, along with Black and white.
Three fun cards made from the nominal supplies on offer with this papercraft kit that I hope you’ve enjoyed.
