We’re getting all Tied Up today here at Stamping Sunday as we share proejcts with Ribbon included.
Tiying the knot is what my card is actually all about, as I create an Engagement card for a friend. A new home and a new relationship, this card signifies the start of forever.
The new In Color, Purple Posy, has been a colour that I’ve used very little of, but teams so beautifully with Crumb Cake. Rustic with a clean and fresh colour, I felt these were the perfect marriage for these projects.
Un-tie the bow and slide up the Box lid to reveal the Crumb Cake Box base that peeps through the heart aperture. The little flowers in the heart, were stamped with White Ink and are surrounded by a stitched Purple Posy boarder. I then turned to the stamp set Bloom & Grow for the single flower and sentiments.
The flowers within this stamp set are just beautiful and perfect for colouring in with the Blends. I used Purple Posy and Soft Sea Foam for a delicate touch and fussy cut the sentiment.
I used the edge of the same Purple Posy and Crumb Cake Ribbon, to edge the bottom of this coordinating card. Embellished in the same way as the Gift Box, the sentiment says it all … Forever does indeed Start Today and I wish the very best to this special couple.
