Stamping Sunday – Fresh Start & Creative Beginnings

Welcome to this month’s Stamping Sunday hop where we offer a Fresh Start & Creative Beginnings.

Exciting things are coming for the Stamping Sunday Team, as we prepare to unveil a merger with the Creation Station Team. We believe that when both teams come together, we’ll be able to offer a greater amount of inspiration … so stick with us and we’ll unveil our new name and complete our merger next month … but before we start, enjoy the increased inspiration on offer this month, as some of these new members join us.

Baby Card

This month’s theme had me create this cute little baby card. Making use of the Stylish Shape dies and the Mini Alphabet Dies, allowed me to create these cute building blocks. Using Basic White and Basic Beige, allowed the colour to come from the card base and decoration. Adhering the blocks to a soft sea foam cardbase and mat layer, textured was by using the Lovely Stripes 3D Embossing Folder.

Stamping the cute bears and sweet bird from the Valentine Kisses stamp set, I coloured them using Stampin’ Blends. The Light and Medium skin tone colours were perfect for this.

A scrap of contrasting Crumb Cake die cut with a Stylish Shape banner was used for my sentiment. Heat embossing this sentiment white helped compliment the white building blocks and added frill. Using the scalloped banner from the Valentine Kisses die set, was the perfect way to add this delicate frill.

The Sweet Bugs Die pack offered the perfect little flower and leaf dies that I cut using Lemon Lolly and Basic White.

A Linen Thread bow and some Holographic Resin Embellishments helped complete my card.
