Global Design Project #GDP506 – Sketch Challenge

This week’s Global Design Project challenge #GDP506 has been a Sketch Challenge.

 

 

It’s not too late to take part in this challenge if you wanted.

I kept things simple by allowing the Designer Series Paper to do all the work.

Starting with a Basic Beige card base, I embossed a matting layer of the same colour using the Birch Wood Embossing Folder. Roughing up the edges with the blade of my scissors helped add texture.

The Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper offered my scene that I cut to the width of my matting layer. Edging with Gold Foil helped bring a gentle lift to this card and added a touch of elegance.

From off cuts of Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper, I die cut a selection of trees using the Scenic Adventure Dies. These brought some depth to my card.

A white on Pool Party heat embossed sentiment was added and a simple little banner created.

A gentle scattering of embellishments heped complete this card.
