Our recent Creative Challenge had us By the Sea and I pull my inspiration from Notes & Totes. Pulling scraps from my desk, I created this fun little note card.

Starting with a Pool Party cardbase and matting layer, I proceeded to emboss the matting layer. Using the 3D Soft Waves seemed the most fitting for this theme. The small square Perennial Postage die, cut four times, gave the most perfect frames for my die cut images. These were mat and layered using the Otterly Amazing DSP and adhered flat to my card base and matting layer.
I Die cut two suntan lotion tubes, one from white card and one from Daffodil Delight. This allowed me to layer the white over the yellow, stamping on the yellow with the sun as I went. My starfish was cut from Peach Pie and my shell our Pastel Ombre Glimmer Paper. This had a gentle rub of Pretty Peacock to one side.

My pump action bottle was die cut from both white card and Timid Tiger. Calypso Coral was used to stamp the flowers onto this bottle. The same layering method was used to pair these two die cut pieces up.
Finally my sentiment was stamped with Black Memento and fussy cut, before being added to my card.

The final touch of embellishments was added to complete my card.
This card will be sent to the chosen winner of this challenge, along with a £5 voucher. I hope you’ve enjoyed my share with you today.
