I can’t believe I’ve still not shared my Artisan Swaps from OnStage 2025 – Where has the time gone?
A group of current and former Artisan Design Team Members all gathered together for a quick catch up, a photo and to swap. We’d created our own little Artisan swaps multiple times to share amongst the group. With Easter on the horizon, a fun pop up Easter Cross card seemed most fitting for me.
Look at all this inspiration in Strasbourg together at Onstage 2025 in March.

Starting with a sunny card base of Daffodil Deight, I backed one side with white cardstock and left the other for the cross mechanism. Cutting a piece of Basic White wider than the actual cardbase, I proceeded to blend Granny Apple Green along the bottom before randomly stamping some leaves. I then scored it four times to create the centre pop up section of the cross.
Measurements:
Daffodil Delight: 8.5cm x 14.8cm (3 3/8″ x 5 3/4″)
Basic White: 8.2cm x 14.3cm (3 1/4″ x 5 5/8″) – for the back
Basic White: 12.6cm x 14.3cm (5″ x 5 5/8″) – for scoring
Score larger white panel along the short side at: 2.5cm, 4.8cm, 7.9cm and 10.2cm (1″, 1 7/8″, 3 1/8″ and 4″)

The Coutry Woods DSP worked perfectly for my cross, which I stamped with my sentiment. This sentiment came from a now Retired Stamp Set called Throughout the Year. It was on our Last Chance list at the time but has subsequently sold out. This puts emphasis on not leaving it too long before you make your purchases.
Mixed Florals
Stamping my flowers onto Basic White cardstock with Black Memento, allowed me to colour using Stampin’ Blends. Using flicking motions with the brush end, I worked from the base of the flower head upwards, leaving the tips lighter.
Splitting the flower arrangement, allowed me to have the flowers sit perfectly up the cross. The Ladybird helps disguise some cleverly cut away pieces.

I created this card for a class that took place prior to Onstage, so here’s my first version of this card. The only difference being that I fussy cut DSP to in fill the white space between the stems and used a Sale-a-Bration DSP for the cross.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my share today and that you’ll have a truly fabulous Easter.
