When a boys birthday requires some Thank You cards, turn to Racing By with some Kindest Expressions. Both Stamp sets proved to be the perfect match for a boy racers note of thanks.
The bold sentiment from Kindest Expressions was stamped upon a white matting layer using Black Memento. Unexpectedly the width of the sentiment just happened to be the same width of the racing car. Stamping the outline image with Black Memento provided the outline for which to in fill.
Blueberry Bushel was the perfect bold colour that I teamed with Poppy Parade for the drivers Helmet. The visar seemed wrong being clear, so I took a Black Stampin’ Write Marker to colour it in. This gave a wonderful moody feel and coordinated with the black sentiment and tyres.
Mounting this layer on a white cardbase, allowed the bold car to really stand out.
A quick and simple card design to easily reproduce a batch of cards and one that was appreciated by the recipients.
