Congratulations to William and Kate on the safe arrival of their bouncing baby boy!!
Some of you may have been wondering why there hasn’t been much activity here this past week …. well that’s because there has been plenty of activity here on the Craft Table.
Yes I have been desperately designing my forthcoming classes, so that I can share a sneak peak with my ladies of what they are likely to expect and today I have finished designing next month’s class using the Six Sided Sampler Stamp Set and co-ordinating punch.
Phew it’s warm, but as tempting as a BBQ this evening would be, this evening I am off out to Dunelm Mill, Huntingdon, to host my first Craft evening there and I’m really excited!
In just two weeks time I shall be running fortnightly classes there, alongside my usual classes here at The Crafty oINK Pen, kicking off with Mosaic Madness, a stamp set I used last week.
I shall have on display a selection of many of the stamp sets I plan to use in future classes, along with a selection of the types of things you can expect to make. Booking in advance for these classes is essential and can be done either by visiting me this evening or by emailing or telephoning me with your preferred date.
No launch would be the same without a little giveaway, so I shall also be having a little FREE PRIZE DRAW available and you’ll have the chance to have a little play with a little Make and Take that I’ve designed using the new Tape it Stamp Set … which I love!!
So be sure to pop on over to see me, have a play, enter a FREE PRIZE DRAW and book your first class. No need for experience, these classes are tailored to all abilities.
Hoping to see you.
Introducing Stampin’ Up!’s new wood-mount stamp set packaging! These new cases are similar to the clear-mount boxes and fit perfectly on the shelf next to them. They also have the images and stamp set names on the spine to make the search for the right set, even easier.
How fantastic are these?! ….. So many uses!
Just one of the great new products from the New Annual Catalogue!
It’s here!! … the much awaited new Annual Catalogue is available for all to see and enjoy and enjoy I’m sure you will. I’ve only had my copy a month and already it’s looking dog eared having been thumbed through so much.
It has given me so much inspiration, that I almost don’t know where to start and focus my thoughts … I want to share it all with you.
Take a little look and see what you think
For their 25 year Anniversary, Stampin’ Up! are bringing back some of our favourite stamp images from the last quarter century and combining them into 5 sets. which will release one set per month, until October 2013. Even better, along with some great classic images, each “Best of” set will also include a never before seen image!
July’s pretty set is the Best of Butterflies – Clear Mount for £13.95. Available until 31 March 2014, or while stocks last.
Don’t you just love Butterflies? … They are such a popular theme for crafters, that we really do seem to be seeing them everywhere at the moment.
This gorgeous set coordinates with the Elegant Butterfly Punch that retails for £14.25
Be sure to get in contact if you would like to order this gorgeous little set.
I can not believe that this class posting, somehow didn’t make it to publishing??
This was a Saturday class I recently did, tailored to everything Masculine.
Many of my ladies had expressed their concerns of making masculine cards, so with Father’s Day at that point, on the horizon, I decided to set the theme and challenge myself to come up with something that I hoped everyone would actually enjoy making and might just inspire them to want to make yet more masculine cards.
We made use of the stamp set Blue Ribbon, which I’m pleased to say isn’t on the current Retirement list and is so versatile. We covered a few different techniques in this class, making a Rosette for the Kraft Box Topper to add dimension and interest.
The New Annual Catalogue is right upon us and the excitement is brewing to record levels and madness in preparation for next week’s launch Classes and I am soooo excited to be sharing some wonderful things with you soon but for now, here is a sneak peak of next week’s Class and a spot of this weeks design madness.
If you fancy joining in a spot of Mosaic Madness, then do get in contact, as there are still seats available in Huntingdon for this class.
With much excitement the adverts for my Dunelm Mill Classes are being circulated and my first class is scheduled for Tuesday 9th July.
Like my usual classes, each class will be tailored to a particular theme or stamp set that is current. With the Launch of the new Annual Catalogue falling on 1st July, I’m unable to share too much with you before then, but needless to say, the new catalogue has some gorgeous new products in and I’ve a bright cheerful start to these new classes in store for you. Once I’ve decided which sets to use each month, I shall announce these ahead of time, so you can choose your classes accordingly.
Interested in attending one of these classes, then email me to lodge your interest and to receive details on how to make your deposit.
Each class is currently £10 per head with a £5 non refundable deposit and spaces are limited to 10 per class.
Classes will be tailored to both the beginner and experienced crafter alike.
These classes will be running fortnightly from 9th July, so if you can’t make the first one, be sure to lodge your interest for class dates thereafter.
Hoping to see you there
Easy Events was one of my first Stamp Sets that came as part of my Starter Kit when I signed up as a Demonstrator, in the day before the kit was fully customisable.
It’s such a versatile set, as you can make use of any image, with or without the sentiment and the images cover events like Christmas, Weddings, Birthdays, Baby announcements etc …. It’s a great stamp set to start with and includes a whopping 8 images.
Here I’ve used just four of those images, to create a little matching set of cards. The cute little buttons that I’ve chosen to use here have been retired, so I thought I’d show you a few here. They all come as part of the Designer Buttons in Subtles, but are equally available in the other Colour groups (while stocks last). I still can’t believe that we won’t be seeing the gorgeous Certainly Celery green cardstock any more … or the beautiful Bashful Blue that I’ve used here.
Want a great gift for someone who’s just starting out with Stamping? Then this would be a great starting point …. but be sure to get in quickly, while stocks last.
