Today we go Around the World on Wednesday with a March Blues Challenge. This month we share everything Blue and I turn my hand to the Lovely & Sweet Bundle.
If you have arrived here from Aurélie, then I’m sure you’re feeling far from Blue. The wonderful inspiration you’ll have seen will have, I’m sure, lifted your spirits. I hope to inspire you further.
Shown in earthy tones in the catalogue, the Lovely & Sweet Stamp Set would be a great challenge to be seen in other colours.
Taking a Basic White Matting layer, I stamped a large sentiment, from the Kindest Expressions stamp set, centrally in Night of Navy. The same colour ink was used to randomly stamp the line drawn images of flowers around the outer edge of the mat layer. Other random images were stamped giving greater interest to this card front.
Blending various shades of blue around the edge with a blending brush, helped pull together the mat layer to the card base. A Baker’s Twine bow was added to help complete this simple little card.
