Stamping Sunday – Whimsical Wings and Soaring Hearts

Welcome to this month’s Stamping Sunday where we are sharing Whimsical Wings and Soaring Hearts.

A fun theme that had me turn to the Free Flight & Airy Sale-a-Bration paper pack for my Whimsical Wings. A stunning pack of bird paper, I couldn’t reside but do a spot of therapeutic fussy cutting.

Taking one of the sheets, I cut it to the width of my Bubble Bath coloured card base. I then proceeded to fussy cut along the top and bottom edge of the bird panel. You can see from the sheet that these birds lay in stripes across the sheet.

Once cut out, I  adhered this panel to a panel of spotty vellum. To add further texture and interest, I adhered the vellum panel to a dry Embossed panel of Basic White cardstock. The Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder gave enough detail without being overly fussy.

These panels were then adhered to a Bubble Bath card base before a white heat embossed sentiment was added on Boho Blue cardstock.

A simple card to pull together but one that’s delicate and ever so effective that I hope you like.
