Welcome to this month’s Stamping Sunday where we share Simply the best inspiration this month.
A stamp set that makes simple stamping effortless to me is Simply the Best, so this was my focus.
Cutting a panel the width of my matting layer, I set to stamping with the largest of flowers from Textured Floral. Using a finger dauber and a darker shade of colour, I added depth to the centre of my flowers. To ensure a soft textured result for this dINKstictive image, I inked up using a Blending Brush. To rid this panel of white, I took a Pool Party Blends pen and coloured in around the leaves and flowers.
Inking up my Sketched Plaid stamp with Versamark ink, I stamped and heat embossed white onto white cardstock. Cutting this panel down, I raised this on dimensional and adhered my floral panel flat to the card. Using a Pool Party card base, tied in nicely with the background I’d just coloured and gave a fresh look.
Keeping things light and airy, I heat embossed white my sentiment, from the same set, onto a scrap of Crumb Cake cardstock. Raising the sentiment panel on Dimensionals to the height of the matting layer, allowed space for the knot of a Linen Thread bow.
A gentle scattering of Iridescent pearls completed my card, which I hope you like.
