Contemporary Christmas with Abundant Beauty

Are Contemporary Christmas cards more to your liking? … I share one today made using the Abundant Beauty masks.

It’s easy to look at these masks and only see flowers but the set also offers Dogtooth Check, Autumn Leaves and Snowflakes. It is the Snowflakes mask that I used for this project I share today.

Sitting the mask over a basic white panel, I blended ink in an ombre across the mask. This gave bright punching snowflakes. Wanting to tone down the vast white contrast of the background, I added an ombre of ink across the entire panel to blend this in.

Mat and layered onto Black cardstock, I teamed this with a white on black, heat embossed sentiment panel.  With bold black and white, the black and white gingham ribbon seemed only right and fitting for this card.

Finally, a back layer of Snowfall Sky 3D Embossing helped bring some texture to this card.

Iridescent Rhinestones perfectly pick up whatever colour they sit upon. A simple little card but bright, bold and contemporary and made using the Abundant Beauty Masks.
