Framing is the key focus for this month’s blog hop in whatever way you see fit, as you’ve been Framed. Welcome to this month’s Stamping Sunday challenge.
A very warm welcome to this month’s hop, which this month is being framed with a theme … You’ve Been Framed.
The Radiating Stitches Dies from the Online Exclusives, were used with Pretty Peacock to create this wonderful frame. Layered onto a card base of the same colour, I knew I wanted a paler colour for my focal point.
A series of leaves from the Petal Park Stamp Set were stamped to the left of this layer in Pretty Peacock Ink. In contrast, the image of writing from Gorgeously Made was stamped and heat embossed white. A gentle Ombré of Ink Blending, from Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock gave depth to the background.
Fresh Freesia flowers were punched, spritzed with water and crumpled, before stacking to assemble flowers. This help to create a vintage feel to these flowers. Garden Green leaves complimented this colour palette perfectly. Soft vellum punched sprigs from the Bough Punch softened the cluster.
Tinsel Gems were the perfect addition to these flowers, along with a Very Vanilla Baker’s Twine bow.
Keeping the rich and mellow colour palette, I added a simple sentiment on a Die cut circle of Crumb Cake cardstock. The richness of these colours paired and the ombré background help bring about a wonderful mood to this card.
Hoping you’ve enjoyed my creative share today and that you’ll enjoy the inspiration by the rest of the team also.
