Let’s Get Hopping #67 Sketch Challenge

Let’s Get Hopping with a sketch challenge this month.

 

 

Welcome to this month’s Let’s Get Hopping challenge and this month we’ve a sketch challenge to follow.

With the above sketch in mind, I set to work creating this card for you today. A simple little layout that I decided to pull together using the Timeless Arrangement Dies.

A matting layer of Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper was the first layer I added to my Moody Mauve card base. To give this strength, a layer of cardstock was added to the reverse. Some simple sprig images from the Layering Leaves Stamp Set were stamped onto this layer of DSP using Moody Mauve.

To add contrast, some dotty images were stamped and heat embossed white giving a gentle spray to my cluster. A simple wrap of Baker’s Twine was added and tied in a bow to one side before the entire matting layer was added with Dimensionals.

Die cutting various Timeless Arrangement pieces from Lost Lagoon, Pretty Peacock and Basic White, I added a cluster of  foliage to back a sentiment panel.

A Night of Navy sentiment from the Layering Leaves Stamp Set, was stamped onto Basic White cardstock. The Lasting Label Punch was the perfect size to take this sentiment which then had a gentle ombre of ink added. Using a Blending Brush and both Bubble Bath and Moody Mauve, an ombre of colour was added.
