Welcome to our all NEW Stamping Sunday blog hop where this month we bring you Ripped Tips with Bish, Bash, Bosh.
I show you how you can effectively use up scraps of cardstock to produce a torn seascape scene. Gathering various shades of Blue, I set to carefully ripping each piece before layering up to simulate the Sea. Die cutting a panel from the Layering Essentials Dies, I set this to the right of an embossed panel.
Taking Crumb Cake Ink and the speckled image from Layering Leaves, I stamped over the faux sand of my die cut panel. Using Pretty Peacock, I stamped the smaller Sea Turtle and fussy cut with paper snips before adhering to my card.
My sentiment was stamped and fussy cut to sit over my Sea Turtle with a large Linen Bow tucked in behind.
I love the texture that is achieved by ripping cardstock and the interest of the layers. I hope you like this simple little tip of using up your cardstock. You could use alternative colours to create fields and mountains for so many other cards.
