Beauty of the Deep has been a Bundle I’ve been creating with a lot of late and I love it. Masculine cards can often be troublesome yet this bundle has been easy to create with.
Using a card designed by Jennifer Frost as inspiration, I set to work creating this card with a vintage vibe.
Blending Crumb Cake ink around the edge of a matting layer, I set to randomly stamping the large detailed coral image to age up the boarder. The spotty image was also perfect for ageing up the edge, which I then roughened up with the blade of a pair of scissors.
Taking Mossy Meadow ink, I stamped a few leaves directly to my matting layer before layering up my die cut pieces. Again with Mossy Meadow I stamped some leaves onto both Old Olive and Granny Apple Green cardstock before die cutting. These images were snipped shorter and adhered to start my collage. A mossy meadow detailed coral die cut sat to the back of my collage to take my Calypso Coral stamped Coral and Misty Moonlight Anchor.
Fraying the ends of a length of Wavy Trim, gave a wonderful rustic feel.
A single stamped fish was adhered with a Dimensional and white heat embossed bubbles stamped above.
A simple white heat embossed sentiment was added along with some flat pearl embellishments to complete my card.
The colour and texture of this card is really quite striking and another wonderful masculine card, which I hope you like.
I hope to have inspired you with this wonderful Bundle. A list of all the products used can be found below.
