Welcome to the Creation Station Blog Hop, where this month we are following a Colour Challenge. Our creations must focus on one Core Colour, one In Colour and Basic White.
If you’ve hopped over from the lovely Denita Wright-Smee, then I’m sure you’ll have seen a colourful delight.
This month’s colour challenge had me looking at two colour items for days on my travels. Seeing a cushion pop up on the internet, inspiration came for this card. A simple series of die cut circles to represent flowers in Crushed Curry and Pebbled Path.
I loved how the smaller die cut circles from within the larger were in themselves, used as faux flowers. A bold show of colour with a layout that could be changed up for any colour flower, aiding you to use up scraps.
A vellum circle was used to help define the sentiment and to coordinate with the circles used throughout.
I hope this simple card has given you some inspiration on how to cleverly use up your scraps and team up colours. Do head over to my dear friend Elizabeth Price and take a look at what she has to share this month.
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy the rest of the hop today.
