Today we’re going Around the World on Wednesday as we CASE a Team Member.
Working in pairs for this theme challenge, we’re to Case a Team Member. Paired up with the wonderful Annette Ball, we chose to CASE fellow Team Member, Brenda Nelson. These two cards from Brenda’s Instagram account, jumped out at us with lots of inspiration to work with.
Annette and I shared a lovely day crafting together over Zoom. discussing our colour palette we also decided between us which Bundle and images we’d choose to work with. Firstly, we liked the tone on tone effect that Brenda used within both of these cards and liked her layout.
Using the same layout as Brenda’s second card here, I decided to randomly stamp the word ‘Sending’ across a matting layer in preparation for my focal point. A die cut banner blended with a little Pretty Peacock sat upon a panel of Designer Series Paper.
Pulling over the Bubble Bath pink, I set to die cutting two large Cheerful Daisies that I positioned as per Brenda’s layout. Bringing in a pop of Parakeet Party, I added some leaves and a sentiment extension.
This colour theme was carried over to making a little gift bag. Randomly stamping all over the base box to give interest in the same fashion as the card. This was then wrapped with a Designer Series Paper sleeve from the Fresh as a Daisy pack.
The Bubble Bath ribbon helped pull the two projects together and the smaller flower even more so.
