Welcome to the Creation Station Blog Hop, where this month’s creations bring Dots and Spots.
If you’ve hopped over from Rachel, you’ll have already been spoilt to some dotty delights.
I decided to showcase some Dots and Spots from the Inked Botanicals Designer Series Papers. I felt there was no better way than Die cutting Circles with the Stylish Shape Dies in various sizes.
Layering these circles onto a matting layer of yet more dots and spots, I gave my attention to a Gold Foil Sentiment. Wanted to Say is a new Die set that offers this fabulous Get Well message that I die cut in both Gold Foil and Foam Adhesive backed Basic Black cardstock. This helped give the illusion of a subtle drop shadow whilst elevating my sentiment.
A scatting of Brushed Brass Butterflies tied in nicely with the floral paper and the gold foil.
A great way of using up scraps of Designer Series Paper and teaming various patterns and colours together. I hope you like my inspiration today and that I’ve brought the Wanted to Say dies to your attention. It’s so easy to overlook these in the catalogue on page 167.
You’ll want to hop on over now to see what Julie Mercer Beltramo has in store for us.
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy the rest of the hop today.
