Welcome to our Stamping Sunday blog hop where this month we share inspiration from Little Seeds.
With this month’s theme stemming from seeds, I couldn’t help but plant up a whole field of flowers.
Making use of the Rays of Light Background Stamp, I inked it up and stamped in two colours. Crushed Curry on the same colour card for the sky and Soft Suede on Soft Suede card for the ploughed field. By adding a cluster of flowers in the foreground, helped bring colour and a focal point.
An Embossed matting layer helped add texture to this card, that was completed with a loops of ribbon, a sentiment and some butterflies.
I created a second card that shows the field in bloom. Stamping the sky with Daffodil Delight and the field with Garden Green, brought about a different look. Die cut Wisteria flower heads from white cardstock were randomly coloured with shades of Highland Heather. Adhering these along the ploughed field, gave the impression of rows of flower heads.
A slightly different layout for this card and a smaller swish of ribbon and a sentiment completed this card.
From Little Seeds, a whole field of flowers may grow.
