Welcome to the Creation Station Blog Hop, where this month’s creations bring Music to my Ears.
If you’ve hopped over from my friend Yvonne, then I know you’ll have been spoilt to some amazing inspiration.
With this month’s hop theme being Music to my Ears, a song by the Spice Girls sprang to mind. Taco Fiesta sitting upon my desk had me think of the Spice Girls song ‘Spice up your life’.
Taking a Basic Grey Card, I ran the matting layer through the Die Cutting machine with the largest Stitched with Whimsy die. This gave wonderful stitched detailing.
Using Blends Pens I created an ombre wash before die cutting the letters S, P, C and E from the Alphabet a la Mode Dies. Backing the card stock with Adhesive Foam first, helped give depth to the word.
The largest Chilli from Taco Fiesta, was stamped with Black Memento Ink onto White cardstock, before colouring.
The sentiment extension was stamped and heat embossed white on black. Cutting this out of a larger sentiment, I set it across the last two letters of my card.
A simple little card, which I hope you like and has made you look at this set and the Alphabet A la Mode set in a different light.
Now let’s hop on over to see what my dear friend Elizabeth has to share that will be Music to my Ears.
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy the rest of the hop today.
