Artisan Design Team Share Retiring Colours

Some of the Artisan Design Team are today sharing their favourite Retiring Colours over on Instagram.

 

Today the Artisan Design Team 2023 are sharing their inspiration using many retiring colours. With so many to choose from the Team decided to do a hop over on Instagram today, sharing their favourites.

I created a card based around two of my retiring colours, Mango Melody and Bermuda Bay. Two bright and vibrant colours that I’ll be sad to say goodbye to they work so beautifully together.

Starting with a Bermuda Bay cardbase, I added a Die cut spotty background cut using the Dots & Spots Die. Adding a little Blended Ink behind where my flower cluster would sit, gave depth to my project.

Pairing two retiring colours, So Saffron and Mango Melody, helped create my flowers. To avoid the white boarders around my flowers, I stamped Mango Melody onto So Saffron Cardstock before die cutting. The same applied for the leaves which were stamped tone on tone in another retiring colour, Pear Pizzazz.

A bold white on black heat embossed sentiment sat beautifully with these vibrant retiring colours. To soften the vibrancy, some vellum die cut leaves were added along with some soft Fine Sparkle Gems.
