Artisan Design Team create with Sweet Citrus

The Artisan Design Team have recently been creating with Sweet Citrus. This juicy bundle is thankfully carrying over to the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalogue launching next week.

For my creations, I chose to go punchy and vibrant and team up with some Marmalade I planned to Gift. Starting with a matting layer of Coastal Cabana, I set to Stamping and Heat Embossing White clusters of flowers. Blending Coastal Cabana Ink over the top centrally, gave some depth.

Using Pumpkin Pie, I stamped the outer image of my fruit onto Shimmery White cardstock. The inner section was stamped using Mango Melody. The Hybrid Embossing Folder and dies will both Emboss and Die cut these images giving great texture. The colours were enhanced and softened by gently running an Aqua Painter over the stamped images, being careful not to run colours together.

My leaves were first inked up with a lighter green before doing the Rock and Roll technique of adding a darker shade. To make these look more water coloured, they were spritzed with water before stamping and die cutting.

An embossed matting layer started the mini Thank you card but the fruit was stamped the same. The flowers were stamped and heat embossed white onto Shimmery White cardstock before die cutting. A gentle touch of Daffodil Delight was added with an Aqua Painter to the centre.

Gifting a jar of Homemade Marmalade seemed all the more perfect when embellished with the fruit within. A lid topper was added by using the Layering Circles Dies and the Cane Weave Embossing Folder. The Natural Finish ribbon was perfect for adding a large bow.

Each piece was finished with a white on black, heat embossed sentiment to give contrast. A really enjoyable set to create and one that I hope has inspired you.
