Today we’re going Around the World on Wednesday as we share the Teams favourite Techniques.
Welcome, and if you’ve hopped over from Aurélie, then I know you’ll have already been spoilt to fabulous inspiration.
Asking the Team what their favourite Techniques are, it materialises that Embossing comes out tops. It’s of no surprise to me, as it is my absolute favourite Technique of all time.
For my creative share today, I decided to use the fabulous Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder. A unique folder that pairs Dies and Embossing to both cut and emboss in one move.
Taking the Scalloped Contour Die and some Country Gingham paper, I cut a layer that would sit offset. Heat Embossing some randomly stamped flowers white to pop out from beneath this panel.
Stamping the Sweet Citrus fruit with Daffodil Delight onto Basic white cardstock, I proceeded to cut and emboss with the Hybrid folder. The texture that this folder creates is just wonderful.
With a play on words, I proceeded to die cut some letters using Adhesive Foam Sheet to back some Black Card stock. Heat Embossing white on black, I added the sentiment extension before adhering to the card.
A scattering of stamped and die cut flowers and sequins and my card was complete. Fresh and zesty, this card makes me smile.

I love how you’ve subtly used so much embossing in this bright and cheerful card! Plus gingham and scalloped borders. you are really checking off all of the boxes with this one!
Lovely! I like those embossed white flowers on the card front – so subtle that you almost miss them on first glance but they add so much by being there. Nice play on words too.
