Casing the Catalogue is a great way to get playing with a new Stamp Set. I took the Free Thanks a Bunch Stamp Set from our Sale-a-Bration 2023 Flyer and Cased a sample.
Wanting a rustic look, I started this card with a Crumb Cake base and matting layer. Embossing the matting layer with the Timber Embossing Folder, helped add texture and interest.
Opting for a banner shape of Shimmery White Cardstock, allowed for a watercolour wash of Balmy Blue. To ensure a more even colour, I stamped my carrots using Pumpkin Pie on Pumpkin Pie cardstock. By stamping the first solid layer with a diluted strength of ink (2nd Generation stamping), I was able to use the same colour ink for the shadow detail.
The greenery leaves were stamped directly to the banner using Granny Apple Green.
Heat Embossing my sentiment white onto a strip of Balmy Blue, helped team the background with the foreground.
