Welcome to the Creation Station Blog Hop, where for our first month of 2023, we share Sale-a-Bration inspiration.
If you’ve hopped over from the lovely Elizabeth, then you’ll have been spoilt to some fabulous inspiration. We are all sharing inspiration using new products from the Jan-Feb Sale-a-Bration offering, that starts in just a few days. I can’t wait to see what she has chosen to use.
My Team smiled at me when I commented that I loved the Thanks a Bunch Stamp Set (Free with a £45 purchase) and features Carrots of all things. Seeing alternative ways of use, will help bring inspiration.
Carrot Alternatives
If you know me well, you’ll know I have a love for Tuscany and the Tuscan Hill tops in particular.
Taking the mid sized Carrot and turning it upside down, I was able to stamp three Tuscan trees. The shadowing for the largest carrot was then used to create the grass and the mid size, the flower stems.
Capturing this image within a faux Polaroid gave me ideal space for a sentiment.
Using the small cluster of carrots, I was able to create rays from the sunshine sentiment. A bright, vibrant card again making use of the Dandy Designer Series Paper (free with a £90 purchase).
This Stamp Set couldn’t be shared without featuring the Carrots themselves. A background of smaller carrots was stamped before adding larger carrots.
The Bough Punch offered the perfect Carrot Topper to my fussy cut carrots. This stamp set offers detailed shadowing that give real detail to this humble root vegetable. Why Carrots? … Why not? … These will really come into themselves as we enter into Spring and Easter.
