The build up to our Christmas break is all about family and sharing some festive cheer. I like nothing more than ensuring friends and family know that we’re thinking of them. Although I like to make cards, I also like to send many. Decorating the house with fresh festive foliage that’s fragrant is another way of preparing our house for the festive period. A wreath making class often marks the start of Christmas for me.
Starting with the cute little envelope from the stamp set Full of Love, I stamped and fussy cut and cluttered three together. Sitting these upon a backdrop of festive foliage brought together my two festive loves. The foliage and sentiment both came from the Christmas Banners bundle.
Taking a blending brush and Balmy Blue Ink, followed by Night of Navy, I added a smudge of colour to a slender card. Using the same colour ink and some snowflakes and fern, I stamped a few sprigs in the background.
Rather than stamping my foliage, I chose to die cut some pieces that I then tucked into an open mini envelope. A simple stamped and die cut banner was placed behind my focal point to anchor it to the base card. A white on black heat embossed sentiment completed the cluster with a generous scattering of sequins.
