This week’s Global Design Project #GDP364 theme is to CASE the Designer – Madeleine Mrotzek. This is the beautiful card we have to CASE in whatever way we interpret this.
What is it to CASE?
To CASE is to Copy and Share Everything … or to Copy and Selectively Edit. Inspiration allows us to use the colour scheme, the layout or the products used to create our own version.
The layout of Madeleine’s card appealed for my inspirational focus. I do love a Rainbow themed card.
Cutting out an abundance of white mitten shapes in advance, I used the Stamparatus to help me ink them up. Repeatedly stamping each colour, made making multiples of this card easier.
I set the rainbow of mittens across an embossed panel for a Wintry 3D feel and added some snowflakes.
Stamping half the sentiment, before the second half, allowed me to stamp in a line. Heat embossing white on black gave for a punching sentiment to sit amongst the vibrant coloured mittens.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my inspiration and that perhaps you’ll have a go at joining in this challenge. The weekly Global Design Project challenge helps ignite your creative juices at the start of the week. I’ve enjoyed creating this and I hope you’ll seek inspiration from the rest of the Global Design Project #364.
