Blessings of Home has been a stamp set sat on my shelves needing to be inked for a while.
I decided to colour the images using our Stampin’ Blends Pens and layer them for dimension. The shading within our detailed stamps, helps give guidance on where we need to add shading, making it easier to colour.
Using Black Memento Ink and white cardstock, I stamped this image a couple of times before colouring and die cutting. I took my scissors to one of the images, so that I was able to layer the flowers and add height and Dimension. Adding a smaller cluster to the top right, helped give balance to this card layout.
The pretty scalloped panel from the Scalloped Contour Dies, was the perfect focal panel for my sentiment.
The stitched detail edging gave a straight line for my sentiment to sit upon. A layer of vellum beneath this raised panel softened the busy print of paper that sat beneath. This paper came from the Lovely Linen Designer Series Paper pack and offers a beautifully soft balance to this card.
Pearl dots seemed the only right and fitting embellishment for this delicate card, which I hope you like.
I really hope you have enjoyed my share with you today and I’ve inspired you to cut and colour using your Alcohol Blends Pens.
