You Can Create it with Awash in Beauty

You Can Create it this month with our Quarterly Papercraft kit and Awash in Beauty Papers.

This month’s kit we are creating with the Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper and coordinating card stock. We also had a sheet of our Masking Paper to make use of.

The Lattice Die within the True Beauty Bundle enabled me to die cut a Mask that I then blended ink through. This gave the most beautiful coloured lattice background for my flowers to sit upon.

Carefully using my Paper snips, I sat and fussy cut around what flowers I had within one of the sheets of Designer Series Paper. These were adhered across the diagonal line where I’d sponged up to. A white heat embossed sentiment on my Mossy Meadow cardstock helped pull all of these colours together.

I used the second sheet of Designer Series Paper as a decorative matting layer for my second card. This card I share the masking technique. Stamping and die cutting a series of flowers from the Masking Paper, I was able to stamp and add depth to a floral bouquet.

You can see how the blue flowers are nested between the background leaves and the yellow flowers to the right. Having Inks in the same colours as the Designer Series Paper allowed me to stamp these flowers in coordinating colours to that of my first card.

My sentiment was white heat embossed on Merry Merlot to tie in with the flowers within my bouquet.
