This Birthday Piggy was a must have for me from the moment I saw it. I simply couldn’t resist the cute little pig images and the useable sentiments. I recently created this set of three cards.
Stamping each of the images onto Basic White Cardstock with Black Memento Ink, I proceeded to colour the Pigs with Watercolour Pencils. These images were then die cut with the Scalloped Contour Dies giving a decorative panel to work with.
This first card saw me mount the scalloped panel onto a banner of patterned paper from the Design a Daydream pack. This pack is one of the Hostess Gift options you could choose if your order were to reach £150. This was mounted upon a white matting layer die cut with the Stitched Greenery Die.
My second card saw the Birthday Piggy come to life as he rode his little scooter. Coloured and die cut in the same way as the first image. Adding a panel of Daffodil Delight behind allowed me the chance to randomly stamp the confetti sprinkles from behind the bike, along this yellow panel.
Taking the same patterned paper, I set this across the top and added a ribbon bow and sentiment.
The final image saw me compile my card in the same was as the last but this time stamping balloons along the Daffodil Delight panel. Adding the Ribbon, I adhered the scalloped stamped panel over the top and added a Bow and embellishments.
I love this image … such a happy piggy sat before her cake.
As a trio of cards, I really enjoyed creating them, using the same patterned paper and colour palette throughout but having them appear all slightly different.
I really hope you have enjoyed my celebratory share with you today.
Thanks for hopping by today.
