Are you Fond of Autumn? Autumn brings wonderful colour changes within our countryside showcased my own colour palette using this wonderful bundle.
The catalogue offers amazing inspiration and is a great place to start. These two cards were created during last week’s Thursday evening Facebook Live using the Catalogue for inspiration.
My first card saw me die cut background detail to my matting layer. A beautiful swish of velvety soft Petal Pink ribbon sat beneath the images I’d coloured using Blends Pens. Once coloured with our Alcohol Blends Pens I set to die cutting. The die separates this image into four pieces making it even more usable to cluster or split between projects.
The Rose Gold Brushed Metallic Specialty paper helped pull the colour palette together. The scalloped trim die came from the Penned Flowers Die set. A simple sentiment and some retired Polished Dot embellishments and my card front was complete.
To pull the outside over to the inside, I added two stamped acorns to the inside of my card and coloured in the same colours.
The Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder on a Petal Pink matting layer gave texture and interest to my second card. A scrap of Free Designer Series Paper from Sale-a-Bration was added with a torn edge before the coloured flowers were added.
A White Heat Embossed sentiment that was die cut into a curved banner, sat centrally.
A softer Autumnal palette that I enjoyed working with brought about some elegance.
