Cup of Tea with Sale-a-Bration Freebies

This week I hosted a Class at Dunelm Mill using the Cup of Tea Bundle and some Sale-a-Bration freebies.

Using the Pool Party and Soft Sea Foam card bases from Sale-a-Bration, I teamed them with some vibrant but calming colours. Three fun cards to create, each with a different level of complexity.

This first card was designed to not include any cups but simply use the floral images for a simple card. Repeated stamping across a cardstock strip with the addition of flowers was enough. A circular stamped sentiment and a flash of ribbon and my card was complete.

My second card offers a cup of herbs for a Get Well card. The Seasonal Labels dies offered the perfect layer for my focal point to sit upon. A soft warm glow sits behind the cup and a zig zag of ribbon helps soften the look further.

My final card was all about the die cuts. From simple die cut flowers and leaves to the detailed cup. The self adhesive sheet that backed the Basic White cardstock made adhering this detailed cup easier.

A swish of ribbon upon a vellum tag and a few punchy flowers and we had a card for any celebratory occasion.

I loved the soft yet punchy palette of this trio of cards. The Polished Pink and Daffodil Delight really lifted the otherwise soft look.
