Welcome to the Creation Station Blog Hop, where this month we’re creating everything Water themed.
If you’ve hopped over from my friend Elizabeth Price, then you’ve already been spoilt rotten to inspiration. I decided to use a soon to retire stamp set along with the Whale Done Bundle that’s carrying over.
Starting with a Crumb Cake matting layer, I carefully darkened up the edges and stamped random ink speckles in the hope of ageing it a little. Scuffing up the edges with my scissor blades, helped to age it further, along with the scrolled corner for interest.
A sponged area of white ink, helped to draw your eye into the images further. The sentiment fitted beautifully onto this Stylish Shapes Die turned sideways that I created a scroll top to. To bring interest and depth, two shades of green were used for the plant life.
Adding some Vellum leaves helped to bring the leaves out of the picture further. The fish were stamped from the Seas the Day set and die cut before adhering on Dimensionals.
White ink bubbles added a playful feel to this image cluster.
I hope you have enjoyed my share today and that you’ll consider pairing these two bundles together.
Do hop on over to see what Barb Pfeffer has in store for us today.
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy the rest of the hop.
